VR Theatre Skills Course Monthly Platinum Information

You pay £49 per month for 12 months (T&C’s) and we send you a voucher to choose your first course. That course will last 30 days. At the end of the course, you will be sent a voucher to SWAP for another course. You can choose 1 course every 60 days. Over the 12 months, you will complete 6 courses. If you don’t want to sign up for the monthly payment you can select the Platinum or Gold Option which will be charged at the respective prices.

VR Theatre Skills Course Info

Scrubbing and assisting for a Vitreoretinal (VR) Surgery case can be quite daunting, with multiple parameters, tubing sets and instruments to manage, for procedures lasting up to 90 minutes in length.

This course will prepare Theatre Nurses or Technicians, that may be working in Cataract, ENT, Neuro or similar disciplines, for starting to ‘scrub’ for common Vitreoretinal Surgical procedures. The course will include Anatomy & Physiology for VR surgery, preparation of equipment, tubing sets & instruments, plus give an overview of how to assist with the all the typical VR surgeries including Pars Plana Vitrectomy, Epiretinal Membrane Peel & Macular Hole interventions.
